For West - Hartford Beach State Park: We LOVE this place. Midweek camping was quiet. No TV reception or WiFi. Electric only sites with dump station in the east campground (west site is closed and has been for a year). Beautiful new restrooms/showers and even the pit toilets were clean and odor free. Park staff was friendly and helpful. Hiking trails covered various terrains and were well groomed. Small pier and nice swimming. No boat access at this area but available north of the park. Great Lake views. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact that many sites are not level with drop offs from the pad.
