Campground is completely refurbished . Sites are level and very good looking. Spaced well apart and nice views of the canyon. Water and electric only but there are two dump stations. Brand new bathhouse. Flush toilets and hot water showers. This is my new favorite campground in Palo Duro.

The Juniper loop was fantastic. It has the nicest bathrooms of all of them in the whole state park. The scenery, sunsets, stars, and wildlife were awesome. The tarantulas are HUGE! But, according to several sources, they do not bite and aren't interested in humans. They will, however, jump, which didn't thrill me to know at all. There are two dump stations. The one closest to the entrance/exit of the park is the best for big rigs. The other one has a tight turn that can be difficult to maneuver.

Spectacular scenery-hiking trails, horseback riding, nature viewing. A little scary heading down the mountain—curvy and steep—but BEAUTIFUL! Covered picnic table, fire pit and grill at our site. Bathrooms were amazing with showers. Plenty of space between camping sites.

This park was awesome. The views from the campsite were just perfect. There was endless hiking and mountain bike trails. We have a 38' 5th wheel and its about as big as I would want to pull in there, maybe 40' if your brave. Its not the sites but the drive down the canyon roads to the campsites. Lots of sharp turns and switch backs. If your willing to navigate the road with a long rig its totally worth it. This was one I would recommend and will be going back to.
