For Bald Eagle - San Angelo State Park: Very spacious campsites in partially wooded area. Very pleasant. 50A service with water. Central dump, no sewer on campsite. We enjoyed the quiet ambience. Call ahead to register and get gate code as the entrance is not attended due to COVID. Very helpful person on the phone to be sure we got to the right place.

For Bald Eagle - San Angelo State Park: Very nice, quiet campground, lots of birds and other wildlife to see. I do agree with other poster about long walk to bathroom(we didn’t use) and poor signage. We had an issue with the lock on the gate but called and got a tip on how to get it open, you will need a code and evidently the gates are not staffed Tuesday and Wednesday, so you need to let yourself in and out. Also if you arrive after 5PM. Site 12 was level and fit our 29 ft TT and two vehicles. Paid $34 for site, 3 adults and two cars. Grass and lots of trees, what more could you ask for in West Texas!

For Bald Eagle - San Angelo State Park: Camp site is decent, no real complaints there (although many of the sites are *very* far from the bathrooms). But the whole place has very poor signage, the check-in and after-hours process is obtuse and the staff not friendly enough to help. Also - the "reservation" or booking fee doesn't include the "entry" fees (I am not sure how you can use a reserved campsite without entering - so they should just wrap the fees together).
