For Site 7 - McIlroy Madison County WMA: I stayed here about 5 days and really enjoyed it. There is little vehicle traffic and normally plenty of sun for solar panels. There’s also weak but reliable Verizon data signal. Went into Huntsville for water, food, and laundry, and Withrow Springs Park for dump station. Felt safe here. Heard wildlife at times, but only saw birds. I enjoyed the almost constant sound of wind through the forest and the blue sky.
