The Novel RV
For Peggy Sues Diner: I was planning on staying here tonight in my Class B, but honestly it felt creepy, trashy and unsafe. I arrived about an hour before the restaurant closed and there were lots of cars in the parking lot. There were trucks and RVs in the large gravel lot too, but it still seemed sketchy. I went to a Flying J instead.

For Peggy Sues Diner: Nov 2018. Excellent spot for a night of boondocking!... we parked to the far righty of the restaurant against the edge of the gravel away from everyone.... the parking lot is huge, so you have plenty of options. Restaurant was delicious and the gift shop is super rad! They also have a turtle area in the back and dinosaurs stuff for the kids! Tons of movie memorabilia.
Asked waitress to make sure it was ok we stayed. She encouraged it and also stated they have potable water available in the back of the lot and security cameras around the lot. 3 miles from Calico Ghost town! That place was awesome!!!

Jeff
For Peggy Sues Diner: We stayed here on 10-11-18. Arrived that evening and had dinner at the restaurant. Food was good and service was excellent. Parked our RV in the big open lot to the right of the restaurant. There were about 6 other RVs and multiple big rigs. There is some road noise and there is a Marine Base across the street so there is some noise but nothing out of the ordinary. We were about to run our generator and put our slides out...plenty of room. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Michael A
For Peggy Sues Diner: Convenient free overnight location, but very noisy. Idling trucks and two close highways. Would look elsewhere.

For Peggy Sues Diner: It was great. Big lot, free place to stay safe for the night. Peggy Sue's is great to see. Americana. Dinosaurs great outdoor.
I had an awesome piece of coconut cream pie to boot
If you are staying on 15 though go a hundred or so miles, not even, to Baker! There, at the entrance to a Death Valley Natl Park down the road, is the Crazy Greek's. Unlike Peggy Sue's, it's open 24/7, and its food is truly outstanding. And, free RV overnight parking....
Then take the short drive up to Tecopa Springs, but bring drinking water, fill your rig...
