For Withlacochee River Park: Nice quiet park with large space between sites. Do not come in by Auton rd if coming from the south as it is the worst road we have ever been on, but instead come in by River Rd just east of Dade city. Lots of Trails here.

For Withlacochee River Park: This county park is equal to a state park in quality and features. The campsites are plenty large enough, with beautiful live oak trees all around. Large open field near the campground for excellent stargazing at night. Paddling the Withlacoochee River is beautiful, in either direction from the park's launch point. Good biking on paved trails, and plenty of hiking trails. The ranger staff is friendly and helpful. We were there in December 2020 and will come back to this park again and again!
