For Route 66 RV Resort: First the good, wide access roads into the park, escorted to the site by staff. The sites are dead level, concrete - plenty long enough and wide enough for all slides without feeling crowded with the sites on either side. Had we gotten a pull through site, I think we could have left the toad connected. The utility connections were well placed and worked well - great water pressure. Far enough away from the Interstae that there was no traffic noise. Now the bad…. The pool was so far away from our site we would have needed to drive to get there. They advertise pickleball courts, and they do have an area of concrete painted with pickleball court markings - the area however has not been used for a long time as evidenced by the weeds and large rocks on them. There were portable nets that were not regulation size, and they had “blown” over - these courts are completely unplayable. If you are coming here to play pickleball - keep looking…. The casino was large and impressive looking, lots of machines - never heard or saw anyone winning anything - there was a recording that played every 15 or 20 minutes congratulating “another jackpot winner” - from experience, I know people tend to make a bit of noise when winning a “jackpot” this casino was quiet as a morgue. We ate at one of the 3 restaurants that were open - food was mediocre at best, server dropped off the check while we were still eating and started clearing the table while we were still eating. Definitely not a destination “resort” fine for an overnight.

For Route 66 RV Resort: Very nice park with concrete pads and nice landscaping. Open 24/7 and you can reserve online. Truck stop for gas on the way out. We didn’t use any of the amenities (pickle ball and a putting green). We did take the shuttle to the casino for dinner. Came in 5 minutes right to our spot. Pizza was fabulous. We will definitely stay here again.

For Route 66 RV Resort: Very nice, upscale RV park with long, level cement sites. FHU-50 amp. Both back-in and pull-thru sites are nice. Back-in sites are easy to get into. Picnic table. Nice views. Lovely pool and large hot tub. Rec room with a kitchen for entertaining. Good OTA TV. Didn’t use their wifi, but phone signal is strong for private wifi hot spots. They lead you to your site. Quiet. Next to a casino; shuttle will take you to the casino. Our site had ants and they were very good to come right away and put powder out. Management is very good. We’ve stayed here before and will do so again if in this area! We love it!

For Route 66 RV Resort: Very nice RV park with long, level, wide pull-thru sites with FHU-50 and wide internal roads. Good for big rigs. Near I-40 yet is very quiet. Nice desert views. Peaceful. Pool, hot tub, club house, and rally barn. EZ check-in. Casino is next door. Casino and food are good; currently there are restrictions due to Covid and the state shut-down philosophy. There is a $25 deposit that is zero’d out if not used; this probably is due to the association with the Route 66 Casino/Hotel next door. Really enjoyed it here and look forward to returning.

For Route 66 RV Resort: Isnt anyone else bothered by a $76.00 charge on your credit card? I’m told they give $25 back if you don’t break anything! We have been traveling for years and have never had this. Did you know the casino is closed to nonresidents? The place is clean, but after their financial shenanigans, I won’t be back!

For Route 66 RV Resort: New. Laid out well. No trees. Resort? They have a pool is that why? Right next to casino. Get a coupon for free Buffett. Small laundry. They tell you to put garbage at front of pad and they pick up. Crows attack it and spread it all over.

Louise

For Route 66 RV Resort: Great RV resort. Everything is in excellent condition. Sites level and well spaced. Propane on site. Clubhouse, showers and restrooms are clean and modern. I am not a big gambler but Casino is nearby, contains 3 restaurants and has a nice assortment of slot machines. Cigarette smoke was not too thick but still there. Employees were all friendly and helpful.
