For A Stones Throw RV Park: Overnight pit stops May 5 arriving at 11PM and May 8 at 930PM, very satisfied with the convenience and value. Full hookup, pull thrus right off I-10 about 30 min east of Tallahassee. Online reservation system is the best I’ve seen for advance and even same-day reservations up until the office closes around 7PM and then they post a site map for first-come first-serve availability after hours. Site 11 leaned to the right a bit and 7 was slightly nose up but with levelers you wouldn’t care and I just used my Camco wedge blocks and it was fine. Most sites looked flat and level. Slight road noise from I-10 but that didn’t prevent me from sleeping like a baby. Would absolutely stay again.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: Small park, level well kept gravel pads. Wifi was good. Park attendant was very polite and helpful. I was able to reserve a spot on the phone for a late arrival for an overnight stay. Road noise was noticable but not unbearable and we slept sound. I will stop here again.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: A very nice well maintained small RV Park. Close to interstate 10 but did not hear road noise. Family owned with very helpful staff.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: This place was a shining light on an increasingly foggy and heavily raining late night around 10pm. We were getting tired and the weather worse. We stopped at a rest are on Interstate 10 just east of this location. We learned we could only stop here for a very short time even though continuing on was a safety hazard. We tried to find a place to stop for the night. We had a difficult time this late at night. Then like a miracle. I happened to spot this on my map. So I was pleasantly surprised when a woman answered and was very happy to help us make a reservation and directions to find them and a great spot to set up. 20 minutes later we had arrived and set everything up on an almost perfectly level spot with a full hookup. After a shower and a great nights sleep we were on our way west. The price was more than fair, the sites were very nice. The fact you can call and make a reservation 24 hours a day is awesome. As we are finding out on this trip. Most places close at 6 or 7 pm. In my opinion this is poor business practice. How are you supposed to drive as long as you can and then find a place to stop for the night safe and legal. The only cons I can comment on are in no type of order. Close proximity to the interstate and a state road with gas stations and food places makes for some noisy vehicles. Their was no shortage of hillbillies with loud exhaust pick up trucks and noisy mud tires. Oh and it was raining so they were finally able to spin their tires which they did. No fault of the rv park. The only other mention would be. It’s not a vacation spot. It is a great place to stop over night or for a few days. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again. Again I want to praise this place for saving the night.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: Pretty much ditto what everybody else said. Great little park for an overnight. The site I got (5) was pretty level, just had to bring the front up an inch or so and I was ready to go. Pull-thrus, easy access and reasonably priced.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: Self-serve but we were able to reserve online and pick out our site from a map. There was a cone with our name on it reserving our spot when we arrived. Non-reserved sites are available for drive-ins. Nice enough pull-through sites with a picnic table and some grass around. Most sites are sloped, but we were able to level without trouble. The location, right at I-10 and 19 is great for us, but does give traffic noise. Hook-ups are in good condition. This works great for our one night stop. Three stars as there is no playground or other amenities and the traffic noise. The price of $32 seems fair for a full hook-up, pull through space.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: Updated Review. Our first visit here, Tuesday afternoon. First impression is it is a smaller, well kept park. It’s called a self service RV Park. You put money or credit card info in an envelope and drop it in a box and choose any open site. Moderately priced and discounts apply. Good WiFi, no cable TV, no pool, no showers, no ice or services or store of any kind. One clean coed bathroom. Nice looking clubhouse with a TV, pool table and kitchen but it was locked. Narrow sites are gravel and most are pull-through. Sites are not very level, neither side to side or front to back but manageable. Bring your levelers. You might have to move a picnic table because it appears not all sites have one. Very close to I-10 so there’s pretty high road noise. Multiple gas stations, Hardee’s, McDonald’s and a nice Japanese Hibachi restaurant are close by. Easy off, easy on, so for us it was OK for a one night stay. We would stay again.
