For Yanawana Camp: The previous reviews were right on. The camp is quaint and makes you feel like you’re camping in someone’s backyard, mostly because you are! Clean, quiet, and secure adequately describe the setting. A couple of things could have made for a better stay: 1) our neighbor’s sewer connection was located halfway into our gravel led area to become an unsightly trip hazard; 2) we missed the entrance as there is no sign and the street numbers are difficult to see; 3) our traveling companions had the only site without sufficient gravel which made for a muddy mess as it rained a lot. Those things are the only detractors. Gabby and her husband did everything they could to make our stay comfortable including bring us travel brochures from the area. We paid $38/night

For Yanawana Camp: This is a wonderful place to stay, the host were very friendly and informative the place was immaculate, gravel top roads we felt very safe behind security gate. Easy access. We saw 37’ rigs there, extra parking for you tow. No showers or restrooms, but that’s ok, we wanted to use our own.

For Yanawana Camp: We stayed at Yanawana Camp for three nights. It's located in a quiet area on the south side of San Antonio. It has five camping spots each of which has electricity, water and sewer. The campground was very tidy and clean. There are no central amenities (i.e., bathroom, shower or laundry) but that was fine with us. We have a 26-foot trailer and there was plenty of room to park our tow vehicle. All the sites are back-in, so if you have a huge 45-foot Class A, this campground might not work for you.

All the interior roads and camping spots are gravel and maintained very nicely. There is plenty of grass and trees throughout the facility.

We liked the privacy and rural location but were still within 1 mile of gas stations and McDonalds. Gabby and Clemente were perfect hosts. We'll definitely stay there again. We camped at Yanawana Camp in a Travel Trailer.
