For Emerald RV Park: Visiting in town for a few days and this place was perfect for that. It has full hook ups and was reasonably quiet. Otherwise, it’s just a gravel lot, grass is very sparse, a few trees and mostly populated by full timers with some fairly dowdy spots. I tried the place in Brush it is nice enough, but has no sewer hook up.

For Emerald RV Park: Needed to get off the road after just 2 1/2 hours of traveling because of high winds. Called this place and got a very friendly voice who said there would be room for us when we got here. This is a basic gravel RV park with basic amenities including office, small store, laundry, showers, and water, sewer, and electrical hook ups at all sites. Site is easy to get to from a short frontage road off of Interstate 76. At the time we stayed there were a lot of people camping which we were told were workers for a power windmill site in the area. Park seem safe and it appears the manager lives on site. I would stay here again if I needed an overnighter.

For Emerald RV Park: This may be a decent overnight stop, but that is all. 95% of every RV in the park consisted of TT's with a few 5'ers all permanent or long term with all the accumulations these permanent residents have managed to accumulate, including vehicles that no longer run, washing machines, etc., Multiple permanent residents had their roofs covered with some form of tarps to keep the rain out of slides. What grass their was in the park had not been mowed this year. I am thinking the better option for us on our next trip through the area will be the City Park in Brush, CO 10-miles east of here. It is $25 a night with a kiosk to pay in. We have been out in the motorhome for over two months and this is the dumpiest RV Park we have stayed in....by far. Is it acceptable, yes but far from desirable.
One other detail I forgot earlier. Emerald DID NOT have a working WIFI....it wasn't just a temp glitch... the front desk said it went out and would not be repaired. We were able to connect to the internet via our Verizon Jet Pack....

For Emerald RV Park: Neat and clean, some trees. Level sites. Gravel sites, typical in the West. I would stay for a few days if I was doing something in the area. Definitely good for passing through.

For Emerald RV Park: This lil park was perfect! After a long 12 hour drive and not finding any available camping. It’s great for a night stop over. They were a life saver because they are open till 9pm! I was about to give up and just pull off an exit! The price is great for full hook ups last minute! A little road noise but not bothersome. She’s a gem when you are in a pinch!

For Emerald RV Park: Full hook up, is the up side. Dirt and weeds, train whistles, road noise, and planes may keep you up. The steakhouse on the corner deserves five stars it is a great place to eat and maybe worth the stop.
