This campground was totally empty. We were told the charge was $34 a night—too high for the very poor facilities. This is why we are the only campers here. Shameful.

Good quiet and dark RV Park just west of Bandera. I stopped by to tent camp one night during a bike tour of the Texas Hill Country. The staff were very friendly and there were abundant power outlets and water spigots. At $16 for tent camping it was a good deal. My main gripe though is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Though they do have showers and plenty of hot water, the bathroom needed to be swept/mopped pretty badly. I'd still stay here again though in the future.

At first look, I wondered if it was even open. Called the numbers and left a message and chose a site per the instructions. The campground has 30 and 50 amp with watse dump station at the park entrance. If you have the chance, I’d recommend selecting one near the bathhouse..there is plenty of shade and it’s quiet if you’re the type to grab the spot that is way from everyone else, then this is the place for you. I was the only visitor the entire time, unless you count the deer that come through nightly, or like to watch the locals practice riding in the arena..after my self check in on Saturday
I talked with the friendly local staff member who informed it’s not too crowded lately..perhaps due to the older hook ups and no waste disposal at each site. For me it was perfect! Bathrooms were cleaned everyday by 8 and trash at the site carried off, plus there was a county law enforcement who basically did a ride through nightly. Overall a great gem of a find for those seeking quiet and clean and a friendly staff.
