For Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds: This is not as nice a place as it was two years ago. Very dry brittle grass with weeds and trash. There is no longer a dump, there is one but it is clogged and unusable. Besides the $22 fee they now charge an extra 3% to use a credit or debit card. Lots of train noise through the night.

For Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds: Was a decent place to stay over when traveling between Glacier NP and Yellowstone. Electric sites were $22/night and you had to fill water in parking lot. No dump but the gas station down the road had a nice dump site. Several sites (especially mine, #18) could use some weeding. No shade.

For Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds: Very barren park, no trees. Kind of an ugly spot on the outskirts of town. Booked in for three days, left after one night . . . No refund! Only good for quick overnight . . . I won’t be back . . . BTW, strange car with loud boom box drove through three times in early morning . . .

For Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds: This is a lovely spot a bit out in the country at the county fairgrounds. The have only electric hook up. We were able to pick any spot we liked of the 20 plus available. The price was $17 if we did not want electricity, $22 if we used the electric hook up. There were trains throughout the night running on a track about a mile away. The facilities included a nice playground/park with lush green grass. The fairgrounds office is in the large building about halfway in. Look for cars parked in front.

For Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds: Nice quiet place. Electric only. Water is available over at office in parking lot next to some of the light poles, look for yellow bollards, fill on your way to site. 50amp power was good. Roads and parking spaces got muddy during rain. Some train noise, but otherwise very quiet. Does not appear to be a well known site as Memorial day weekend it was 25% full. Camped in a 40' motorhome with car. All back in sites. Tents allowed. Lots of mowed grass for pet walking. Actually this appears to a place for locals to walk their dogs. (and they do not pick up after them) Watch your step.
