For Poweshiek County 4H and FFA Fairgrounds: As another reviewer noted, there was no power at most of the posts that we tested (we tried 12 at least). Another camper did have electric at their post. It is green and pretty and very quiet. Just wished we had been able to hook up. Will speak to office tomorrow and ask what a fair price would be since we had no ability to hook up to electric.

For Poweshiek County 4H and FFA Fairgrounds: We rolled in at 11 pm after finding it here on the app. It was a great spot not too far off I-80 that was easy to pull into and quiet and dark for sleeping. We also woke up to a great show of beautiful horses which the kids loved. We knocked our rating down a notch because after paying the $20 fee at the box when we arrived we discovered that none of the electrical was working (at least not at the 6 different boxes we tested. So that was a bummer. But overall a cool find along the trip. Tip: when you pull up off the main road there is a large white building. If you take a left at the building and go through the gates there are electrical boxes and water along the left hand side as well as along the edge of the field. Payment is made at the box by the door on the right hand side of the building.

For Poweshiek County 4H and FFA Fairgrounds: Office hours are limited, but our stay was great! We were prepared for a 30 amp spot, but we actually had a 50 amp outlet! It was super quiet. Parking on the grass in the rain made me a little nervous, but it seemed pretty well packed down.
