For Bay Point Landing: We just departed Bay Point Landing after 6 fantastic days there. There is so much to do in the Coos Bay/North Bend area including hiking in the wonderful OR state parks at Horsfall Beach and Cape Arago. We dug for clams right on the bay at low tide, mere steps away from our campsite and made Spaghetti Vongole with our catch. ATV rentals are available at Oregon Dunes Recreation Area for some off-road fun over miles of sand dunes. Great facilities, spacious camp sites and nice people made for a spectacular holiday break. We can’t wait to return.

For Bay Point Landing: If you don’t appreciate overpay while being heavily surveillanced don’t stay here.
We stayed here for 6 nights in Dec. 2020 as one of the very few RVs on their grounds. We soon found out this place is actively surveillanced by multiple employees driving around in golf carts 24/7. I have the habit of jogging at night, security would follow me around in golf carts, shine bright flash lights to "check if I'm there to steal things". Both my husband and I have been stopped by security on the way to the bathroom to verify our identities. Security sometimes even shine bright lights on our trailer at night for reasons unknown. I don't know how unsafe it must be in the area, I was told by security that people come out of the woods to steal things. But as a guest I really do not appreciate being treated like a criminal.
Also on the day of check out, I mis-remembered checkout time to be noon rather than 11 am, we left at noon and was charged an extra 1/4 of a day for the 1 extra hour that we stayed. Would not be returning, and do not recommend.

Good travels
For Bay Point Landing: Very nice park, big rig friendly, new park. The indoor pool is great. We went clamming at low tide right from our camp site. We have a 40’ 5th wheel and we had no issues getting around this spacious park. Everything is new and worth the price, highly recommend

For Bay Point Landing: One our top five campgrounds nationwide. Big spaces. Great views. Very low density. All new. Fire pits every site. Indoor heated pool. On the beach in the bay. No big waves. Watch the tug boats and freighters go by. Amazing sunsets. Great restaurants in nearby Charleston and Coos Bay. Fresh oysters at the grower for what seems like almost free. Bocce ball court and playground equipment. Super rest rooms. Dogs can go off leash on beach. Walk off beach to claiming at low tides. Does not feel like your normal rv park. It was developed by experienced real estate developers. It is the Oregon coast so it can be cool. We were going to stay one night. Stayed 11 days.

For Bay Point Landing: Easily one of the nicest “RV parks†we’ve stayed at. Literally beach front sites. Each site in the park has its own fire pit. Our slot as level, basically our auto level grounded the jacks and was done. Restrooms, showers, laundry all new and very clean. Indoor pool is great. It’s a bit windy in the area, but we sat on the beach and watched the kids playing in the sand. Nice playground for the kids too. The only drawback to the are is it’s not very close to restaurants, too far for me to ride a bike or walk. But we will come back for sure.
