For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: First word outta my mouth was WOW walking in to check in. We were just going to stay one day, added another day for several reasons. The town of Helper has so much to see. The people working at the RV Park and the park itself is relatively new. It was built by someone who has RV’d by the spaces available. Large level roomy spots, great views pretty much anywhere. We chose the River side back in spot. They came out and guide you to the spot and make sure you get in nice and easy. Make sure to have a water pressure regulator if you want to hook up to water. Clean, spacious showers and bathrooms. They have a store if you need anything for your travels. They provide excellent customer service and are well informed about what to see nearby. The town has very friendly folks that made us feel like we were part of the community.

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Nice new park. Long pull thrus. Great overnight stop or stay a bit to check out the train history of the area and the Harley museum. Nice hosts. If you need your rig washed ask the about Dave’s. They did an excellent job getting the Oregon coast salt off us!

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Very nice, new campground with wide, long pull through spots. Helpful and friendly hosts, and the cable tv offering was so good that we didn’t bother setting up our satellite dish. It’s a bit windy and there’s not much shade but they’ve planted a lot of trees for the future. In a cute historic little town. Nice web site lured us in to try this park. Glad we did

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: I only stayed on night, but it was a great. Experience. The sky was full of stars after dark (even with the light in the rail yard) WiFi worked great. Pad was level. Glad I had a pressure regulator as the attendant said the water pressure was around 100 psi. Rail noise was not bad, the road noise was more bothersome until around 11pm. Drove thru the town on the way out, I have to come back and explore this place some more, lots of interesting places and buildings. The town is OHV friendly.

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Castle Gate is one of the most enjoyable RV parks we have seen. Spacious sites near a river with views of Utah bluffs. It is kept beautiful by a friendly staff. And Helper is an historic town worth a stop on its own; be sure to check out the restored gas station and old murals on building walls.

Mike and Aggie

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Stopped here on the way to/from Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks. Perfect halfway stop for us. I wish all RV Parks were as friendly, clean and well-run. The place is immaculate, the sites are well-marked and easy in/out. Always had a marshaller to help me get in and placed correctly. The wireless access was better than any other place I've been (although the park was not maxed out in so that probably helped). You get some road noise and train noise but we did not find it a problem. My only complaint is with the giant security light pole across the train tracks. The town advertises it is an official "dark" city but that light pole makes it hard to get a maximum view of the stars (which we had hoped to get). You can still see the Milky Way just fine but it would be nice if the light was better focused on the intended area and not at the RV Park. We intend to return and spend some time wandering the area and the very interesting 50's era town post-COVID. Can't say enough good about the place, very reasonable prices too. We stayed in a 34' Class A.
