They might have opened The Derailed Diner but it is nowhere as good as it once used to be. Short staffed, limited menu and very much increased prices make this a last resort to stop at.

I have been informed from the owners of the Oasis that they are preparing to re-open the Derailed Diner. I sure hope so as it is an important part of this travel center. We'll keep you updated when we travel in that direction net month.

What is happening here at Oasis? This was always a wonderful truck stop but it has gone to the dogs and tourists. The once great Derailed Diner is closed due to lack of employees. Raise the wages and get your heads out of your butt! It has become a tourist trap at best with fast food only to eat. It must be the competition from Buccees down the Interstate. Without a sit down restaurant I will not stop here again.

Have to agree with navy pop pop as far as clean and friendly and lots of room to maneuver but you evidently haven’t been to Walmart lately there or more truckers parked in their parking lot than RV,s. Perhaps that’s why Wal Mart is beginning to stop overnight parking, thank you very much. As far as RV parks go we can’t get in there because of the transit workers. Perhaps in your childhood You were not taught to share.

RV's need to stay out of truck stops and go to Walmarts or RV parks instead of bashing the truck stops. If you are feeling unsafe then move. This truck stop is always clean and the people here are friendly and helpful. The food is good and there is plenty of parking usually for everyone.

This place did not feel safe. There is an adult bookstore across the street, next to a spa with all the windows blacked out. There were so many trucks and not a single RV so I asked if it was okay to park for the night. The clerk had to call to find out and then said that they don't get many RVers, and those that come don't park overnight. The restaraunts may be good, but this was not a good overnight spot.

For sure this was an awesome place. We stayed the night and then had breakfast at the Derailed restaurant, which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff was very kind and helpful This place is very RV friendly. Bathrooms were the cleanest. Shopping was amazing. I bought a gift for someone for next Xmas. 5 star for sure.

Awesome place! Easy to get in and out with our 37' motorhome towing our car, lots of parking space. Inside is clean, lots of cool things to buy, an awesome diner and a Subway. Don't pass this place up!

We are making our way from Texas to Florida, and this was the best travel center so far. Had great shopping, awesome diner, a large Subway. There are really nice private bathrooms, and they also have an enormous, non-confusing parking lot where we could easily get our RV in and out. Doesn't look like much from the outside but I give them an A+.
