For Hopi Travel Plaza: Stayed here Sunday night, mostly because we had to get off the road due to dangerously high winds on I-40. Very accommodating. Room out front for a few RVs beyond the gas pumps and along the fence. We parked with the truckers, behind the building. There are electric hookups back there for $10 but you have to back in so we opted for dry camping instead. A lot of wide, deep potholes in the truck parking area; the business is under new management so that might be repaired in the future. Conoco gas was $3.079/gal, about the same as other gas stations down the road. The Indian Store had a nice selection of southwestern jewelry, Navajo blankets, moccasins, and handcrafted gifts.

For Hopi Travel Plaza: large parking lot and a few stores under one roof. Rvers can overnight on the gas side of the plaza and get away from the noise. Not the cheapest gas around but not bad for being in the middle of nowhere.
