For Mecca Travel Center: This is one of those places that looks good from the outside but is a pig sty in reality. The main store is an AM/PM minimart. The "food court" includes 3 vendors. A burger stand, a smoothie kiosk and a Subway. I didn't eat at any of them due to the disgusting filth of the area. The restrooms were also disgusting with dirt and debris on the fixtures and floor. No soap in the dispensers and I observed an employee use the restroom and leave without washing. He was seen later restocking the burger and sandwich area.
One good note is that there's a Del Taco and Starbucks on the property but each in separate buildings away from the main building.
In all, the health dept would enjoy a visit to this travel stop but they're the only ones. If you like Del Taco and Starbucks this would be a nice stop. Avoid the AM/PM. Or better yet, stop at one of the many places on I-10 close by.

For Mecca Travel Center: Don't get down here often but this is one of my favorite stops.
