For Plateau Truck Stop: If I could give this place zero stars I would. Highway robbery, absolutely expensive for anything. $9 for a case of water. Employees yelling at customers for their system being down. Glass and trash everywhere.

For Plateau Truck Stop: Stopped here out of necessity yesterday. Should note this was an emergency fuel stop. Available fuel, unleaded, diesel , and two grades of premium. Area is unimproved, but there is a store which appears clean. Station is a Chevron branded fuel and the pumps take credit cards. Fuel pumps are clean and well maintained. Did not go inside the store, but it did appear clean and well ordered.
Appearances from I-10 make it look as though the station is abandoned. It is open, during the day. There were no hours of operation posted anywhere on the entry area.

For Plateau Truck Stop: Easy in and out towing 32 ft fifth wheel. Only two diesel pumps. Trash and broken bottles all on outskirts of station, hard to find a safe spot for dogs to go potty.

For Plateau Truck Stop: For the last 6 years we have stopped at this place on our way to California. I always loved buying the pottery and things made in Mexico. The staff was always super nice. Not today....let’s just say I have never in my life, been “kicked out†of a place before.
