Getting there
Approximately 17 miles south of Montpelier, Idaho on Highway 89 is the small community of St. Charles, Idaho. On the north edge of St. Charles is the junction of Highway 89 and Forest Road #412, St. Charles Canyon. (Take the Minnetonka Cave road as directed their is no reference to FR#412 for a couple miles.) Turn west onto Forest Road #412 and travel approximately 3 miles to the forest boundary, go around the bend to the entrance.
