Lewis and Clark NF, From Stanford, take US Highway 87 north 1.2 mi to Forest Access sign. Turn left at sign and go 4.3 mi to Y intersection. Bear right at intersection and go 15.7 mi to campground sign. Turn right into campground. All but the first mile is gravel and dirt and last 8 miis single-lane.
