Nickerson Beach Campground

Lido Boulevard; located on Long Beach

From the North Shore, take Meadowbrook Parkway S to Loop Parkway/Ex M10 to Point Lookout. Turn R onto Lido Blvd. Go .5 mi. From the South Shore, take Southern State Parkway East to Meadowbrook Parkway South for Jones Beach. Before the toll, go off on Loop Parkway/Ex M10 toward Point Lookout. Take Loop Parkway to the park. NOTE: All parkways in NY State are passenger car only. No trucks, trailers, or motorhomes permitted (you will be ticketed, and there are very low bridges). Only exceptions are Meadowbrook Parkway SOUTH OF EXIT M9 (Merrick Road) and Loop Parkway. To get to Nickerson Beach with any RV rig, take any local roads to Merrick Road in Freeport, NY, then enter the Meadowbrook Parkway South. Take Meadowbrook Parkway south to exit M10, Loop Parkway, then as above.
