Fremont NF, From Silver Lake Ranger District office, go 0.25 mi west on Highway 31, and turn left on County Road 4-11. This road turns into FR 27. Take FR 27 for 9 miles, then turn right on FR 2804. Go 2.5 mi to FR 7645, turn left and travel 5 mi to FR 036. Turn left and go approximately 2.3 mi to FR 038. Turn right and drive another 0.6 mi to the trailhead.
