Getting there
From Sacramento take US-50 east to Hwy 89. Turn south on Hwy 89 and drive over Luther Pass to Hwy 88. Turn right and drive 2.5 miles to Blue Lakes Road. Turn left and drive 1.5 miles to Middle Creek Campground and continue another one-quarter mile beyond Middle Creek Campground to the Upper Blue Lake Dam Site Campground.
