This area is on the northwest end of Lower Red Rock Lake, northwest off South Valley Road. The main road is South Valley Road and virtually goes from Monida (I-15, exit 0) through the center of the refuge and on to US20 in Idaho (as Red Rock Road), a total of 56 miles.
