Getting there
Two entrances to 17-mi dirt loop through Valley of the Gods BLM land. West entrance off US Hwy 163 about 15mi west of Bluff, UT. East entrance off Utah Hwy 261 about 10 mi NE of Mexican Hat. Camp only at designated pull-offs, of which there are many. Low clearance vehicles not recommended. Large buses not recommended. Graded gravel and clay road is steep at times, passes through several washes, and is impassable if wet.
