From I-5 in Weed, CA travel northwest on US Hwy 97 approx 20 miles to Forest Road 44N22. Turn left and go approx 7.5--8 miles to Forest Road 45N30 and turn left. Go approx 4 miles to Forest Road 45N72Y and turn left. The parking area for the trailhead is less than a mile on the left.
