Getting there
From Redding, take Interstate 5 north about 10 miles to the Shasta Dam exit. Follow Shasta Dam Boulevard 2 miles; turn right on Lake Boulevard to Shasta Dam. To cross Shasta Dam you must present a valid drivers license and vehicle registration, and your vehicle and trailers may be subject to inspection. After crossing Shasta Dam, turn left and travel 2 miles to the facilities.
