Getting there
Southwest of Ely, Take US highway 6, 23 miles south of Ely. Turn onto State highway 318 and drive south 41 miles to Sunnyside (Wayne E. Kirsch Wildlife Preserve). Turn onto an improved gravel and dirt road and drive 45 miles west. Look for Cherry Creek signs along the way.
