Campground Directions:
East from Yakima on Hwy 24 (mile post 45) cross the river left on Hwy 243 approximately .5 to .75 miles left side of the Hwy. Launch by the bridge (Natural launches) Gravel and rock mix on the launch. Access road from highway is well graded gravel and not steep or narrow. The site itself is a level field of small stones with low brush. The river bank is lined by taller brush and low trees. Access to the water and the amount of walkable beach is dependent on the river level, which varies. The two boat ramps are simply gravel areas off the roads, that extend several feet into the water. There are no improvements of any kind, other than the gravel roads, some signs, and fencing surrounding the area. The States website must be checked to determine current site restrictions.
