Getting there
Begins as an easily passable washboard dirt road then becomes rockier after a mile or two as it begins to climb, eventually only recommended for modified 4x4s. Two very large RV and tent camping areas on the left side in the first half mile. Just large dirt parking lots with room for about 10 RVs each. Several smaller pullouts along the road before and after. This is a popular dispersed camping area that gets crowded on weekends.
