Read the ghost story below...
Once a 1897 saloon and bordello, this Victorian brick building presents the old west atmosphere along with todays modern comforts. It was once the rowdiest saloon on Williams Saloon Row. In the 1940's, a murder on the stairs of the Red Garter led to a city wide crackdown on Williams notoriously wild saloons, gambling houses, opium dens, and brothels.
It opened as a bed and breakfast in 1994 providing bed, delicious baked goods and a ghost named Eve. She is a shy Hispanic girl and has appeared in photographs, impressions on mattresses and has been heard moving up and down the stairs when no one is there.
