For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Great campground right on the Mississippi. You can watch the barges go by, all day long. Sites were long and level, with good power, water and sewer. Staff us very nice and always busy improving the area

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Beautiful campground! We ended up staying a whole week. Beautiful sunrises! Free laundry. Friendly staff. We loved this place. There are some beautiful nature trails to walk your dog or just enjoy. I didn’t see anyone else use them. There is plenty of room for kids to run around and ride bikes. The campground is right on the Mississippi River. 20 minutes away from all Memphis touristy destinations. We hiked in T.O. Fuller state park. Worth the drive out! The bathrooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. The laundry room is updated, functional and clean. My only “negative” comments are close proximity to a very loud train and because of rain everything got really mucky as we were on a gravel pad. If it hadn’t rained everything would of been fine.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: This is the place to go to watch the river traffic. It’s not fancy or pretty but you can’t beat the view! Try to get a front row in either the motorhome or the fifth wheel section You get an up close view of the barges and tugs and even the Mississippi river cruise paddleboats if you’re lucky. This campground is not wheelchair accessible for the office nor the bathrooms and showers. Most of the sites on front have concrete pads the rest have gravel. We were on # 102 which was fairly level and moved to #105 when we extended our stay. Site #105 was more level. The front rows are full hook ups. Not sure about the rest. The restrooms are private, very old, but functional with a nice shower. Free laundry but I didn’t use it so can’t comment. Office and grounds staff are very friendly and helpful.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: This place is awesome. What a nice find if you’re staying near Memphis. Only about 15 minutes to Bass Pro Pyramid for reference. Located on Arkansas side of Mississippi, if you’re coming into West Memphis from I-40, don’t worry, it’s still worth it. Peaceful location right on the Mississippi. There are sounds of riverboats and tugs, but we found it calming. Staff is very friendly and they work hard to keep everything clean. Laundry is free. There are 2 locations. One is smaller with only 2 sets of washers and dryers. The other one is closer to entrance of park and there are 7 sets. If you run into dirty conditions it might be the person that used it before you and not due to the staff. If you are going to make reservations in spring, call ahead to make sure they are not closed due to flooding.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: This is a hard place to review for a number of reasons. Rather than writing a two page review, I will list the Pros and Cons. Pros - located on the banks of the Mississippi River with great views of the river traffic. Close to I-40 and I-55. Easy drive into Memphis and the sites. Sites are long and FHU with 50 amp. Cons - Sites are a mix of gravel and concrete with very boggy grass areas around sites. If it rains, very very boggy. The sites are fairly close together, so a little tight. A lot of sites are under trees, so satellite reception is dependent on site. There is no online booking, so you have to call to reserve. They screw up the reservation, and have a no refund policy, so you get taken. Partially my fault for not verifying that the reservation was correct, as my wife made the reservation. Office staff not very friendly. The water here is bad. My prefilter was plugged in just 4 days here. Electric fluctuates from 118 volts to 130 volts and had several blips that the EMS shut the power off the coach. All in all really a nice stay for a few days, but verify your reservation so that you don't get overcharged. We will not stay here again unless they change their policy or get an online booking system. I am not much for paying for someone else's mistake

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Nice park, we stayed here in September 2019. Check in was easy, spaces were very roomy, water and sewer hook up we’re in good shape, my only negative was the WiFi was not good (We don’t stream videos) I was never able to connect but in the parks defense they told us at check in the WiFi “Was not Guaranteed”

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Great spot. Friendly staff. Were still open a hour after advertise closing. Level concrete pads although some are gravel. Most roads are gravel around the park. Park is very nice. Spots are not close together. Very quiet. Bathrooms were clean. Very pet friendly. Will stay here again.
