Joni

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: Right now they are doing major upgrades here. So construction & dust. Office staff very nice, sites are roomy, nice trees, views. Tons to do close by(lots of wineries, breweries, shopping, Victorian architecture, restaurants, ocean not too far either). Park also has a lot to offer for kids. (Rock wall, bouncy thing, petting zoo, cool looking playground, bike rentals, pool.) Very nice place. Easy on/off freeway and easy to get to but still far enough away from freeway noise.

Sean

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: Stayed in a cabin for one night with 1 bed, loft able to sleep 6. Great for kids, but very basic if you plan to cook and eat in. RV sites appear tight. Kids had a lot of fun, and you can just release them to do their thing so you can relax. Would stay again.

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: We were there in January 2016. It was on the spendier side but it's California, in the wine country, near San Francisco. It's quiet, clean, and we felt safe. We had a leveling jack stick down. Two of the maintenance staff helped us bring it up. I tried to tip them. They wouldn't take it. Class act.

SP4301

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: Expensive full hook-up sites. Sites are packed close together, many are not level and have the sewer is on the uphill side.

Cow manure smell every summer evening from the adjacent pasture.

Lots of stuff for kids to keep busy with so the park can be loud.

Busy in the summer.

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: Typical KOA. Great place for families but not very accommodating for older rv'ers. They gave us a spot right across from the activity room. Lots of noise from children with bikes and skateboards. Very uneven spots. Had to adjust location to get level, even with my levelers.
Very close to lots of wineries which we took advantage. One thing we noticed was the amount of people with dogs. You could smell dog poo sometimes in the morning right outside the motorhome. There is a petting zoo which explains one review comment. All in all, would stay again if given a location away from the activity room and with other older travelers like us.

24footer

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: Expensive, 50+ miles north of San Francisco. Jam packed sites, not level, sewer is on the uphill side of many sites. Cow manure smell every summer evening.

Meg

For KOA San Francisco North Petaluma: We really enjoyed this campground on a few day get away. Clean, nice staff and fairly good size spots. Will come back!
