For Cherry Hill Park: High end of cost but reasonable for close location to city , it is very well maintained with friendly and informative staff. Close to Metro which we used most days We stayed 6 nights. Sites tight but adequate , didn’t spend time outside around camper due to weather and we were tired from full day of sightseeing We stayed here 20 years ago with our kids, this time we had grandkids with us .

For Cherry Hill Park: Visited in late Sept, stayed 4 nights with 31’ 5th wheel. Very expensive, but considering location and fact that nearby Nat’l Park CG was temporarily closed, it was the only option for the DC area, so we gladly paid it. This time of year there was no problem reserving a site, and even adding time afterward was not a problem. Park and facilities are very clean, sites are close, but not what I would call tight. It is an urban CG, so we weren’t looking for great distances between sites. As a base of operations or a place for families, this place is in our opinion the best location for a DC visit. Metro station nearby, DC bus has a stop within the CG, and there is a CG tour bus as well. If we ever make a similar trip, we will be back.

For Cherry Hill Park: The only reason I gave four stars is because of the price but because of the location it is to be expected. This was an awesome place! They definitely have their stuff together and it is huge and so many amenities and special things to do! Great security too! We were only there for three days just to sightsee on our way to see the Northeast as being full time RV’ers. We did not use the laundry or any amenities but loved seeing the tractor pulling the trailer with kids around the park. Be sure to fill out the requested paperwork they send via email in advance as it makes for express check in which is great! Oh and they have their own sightseeing Bus!

Lori

For Cherry Hill Park: Large well maintained park in the heart of everything. We only stayed one night in transition between locations, and as such did not have the best site. If looking for a bit more space and not wanting to be wedged in on top of a neighbor, I would recommend seeking a spot at the back of the park. It appears that there may be a newer section beyond a large field. This is a true RV resort with a number of recreational options including pools, mini golf, etc. There is a large hiking trail around the entire perimeter which was really nice for our dogs. There are a number of cabins/Yurts that appear to be well maintained and in a really alluring setting in a wood covered area. There is an onsite store, in park city bus stop, and an onsite restaurant that also delivers to your site. Again, this is an URBAN campground situated near multiple highways, so not necessarily a quiet and peaceful setting, but probably convenient if doing the DC thing.

angela

For Cherry Hill Park: Has anyone else been ripped off by this family? We called 2 days in advance to make a reservation as we were trying to get home during this time of crisis. At the last minute the family canceled our reservation. This left us stranded with no place to stay at all. The family assured us we would get a full refund immediately. Two days later they rescinded and told us that we would not give us a refund but a credit. We are traveling through and live hundreds of miles from this location therefore a credit is useless to us. During a phone conversation we were rudely denied a refund and told that we would also be charged a $10 cancelation fee. These types of price gouging and extortion practices need to be brought to the awareness of the courts and the public. We need to shame these people who try to extort money from innocent customers during times of crisis, whether they are looters who steal from stores, price gougers who charge exorbitant prices on essential items, or “family owned businesses” who steal from honest God fearing Americans. What they don’t realize is that the bad publicity and fines they incur will greatly outweigh any money extorted from us. If you have also been the victim of this company please post your stories on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Allstays, and any other social media you may participate in. These people and businesses need to be stopped now. Our country is in trouble and these opportunistic parasites need to be brought out into the open, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and shamed for their abhorrent behavior. PLEASE SHARE YOUR STORIES NOW….

For Cherry Hill Park: Yes it’s expensive and a large resort. But the best experience by far. A small army of people keep this place clean. Cleanest bathroom, trash cans everywhere dumped every day. Roads in good shape easy in easy out. A great experience. Stay here for any length of time and enjoy. Stayed in 45’ MH.

For Cherry Hill Park: Great RV resort - we stayed on Adirondack Pl, it is right next to Bath House 3 which has the strongest internet connection.
