Swild

For KOA Journey Grants: Pulled in late after checking out the casinos, which did not look that inviting. Quiet and safe. Basic. Free coffee and donut in morning. Suzanne in the office was very informative about the local attractions. She told us about the tours up in Acoma Pueblo. Sounds really cool, but they are closed “for doings”, so disappointed. Instead we are going to the ice cave. Don’t drive by this area without checking it out.

For KOA Journey Grants: For us in our 37’ motorhome towing it was an excellent stop for overnight. Very friendly people, clean gravel sites, good areas for walking our dog. We did not have to unhook our car, which was also great. We did not use any of their facilities such as showers and laundry so don’t know about those. We will definitely be stopping here again!

Landshark

For KOA Journey Grants: Friendly staff. Location was right off of I-40. Offered food for pm meal. Sites were gravel and level. W/E/S. Enough room for 30 Rv and toad. Laundry facilities were nice. Bathrooms were outdated. Showers were as small as a Rv. Couldn’t close curtain with out it touching me. So left open. Park had very little amenities. No pool. Which I would had liked.

Shamanakate

For KOA Journey Grants: I loved my stopover stay here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Super easy pull through spots. One of the team came to check on me to be sure I had everything I needed and that everything was to my liking. I enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by the owner and delivered to my spot. Took my dogs on a good trail walk on the property through a lava field. Close to El Malpas Conservation area and all the sites.

Lon Underwood

For KOA Journey Grants: Easy pull through and well laid out hook ups. The staff was very friendly with the exception of a tall thin gentleman who didn't want to be there I guess?

Gary

For KOA Journey Grants: Very friendly staff! Free wi-fi and cable TV. Pet friendly and great area to walk your dog. Although we didn’t stay for dinner, the menu looked great. Bathrooms clean but small. Would recommend.
