For Fredericksburg RV Park: Way overpriced for what you get in our humble opinion. Wish we had opted for a park a little further out of town that was $20 cheaper. There are lots of long term residents but the park is not trashy. Enough space between units. The dog park is a joke but I we just walked around the perimeter of the park. WIFI was good and there was cable. Nothing wrong with the park but truly there are no amenities so price was high.

For Fredericksburg RV Park: Check-in was – well, they hand you a map, show you where your site is and send you on your way. The park is mostly long term which surprised us since it is wine country. We love wine and that’s why we came but we were not willing to pay the exorbitant prices they charge. The wineries are quite proud of their product. Back to the park. The roads are paved but the sites are teeny tiny red gravel. Needless to say, you drag it all over especially when wet. And it was very wet when we were there. It is so irritating. The interior roads are a bit tight maneuvering for large RVs, and the trees need a good trim. Our site was level and plenty long enough for our 45-foot MH and toad. Sites are nearby with some sites having more space than others. Each site has a “rustic†picnic table on a concrete pad. Our virus software wouldn’t let us use their WII FI so we don’t know if it works or not. Verizon was 4g 3-4 bars so we were able to use our hot spots. Satellite is possible in some sites. The campground map shows that there is a trash bin up by the restrooms/laundry which is in the middle of the park. I found out the hard way by slogging up there from the back row in 27 degree weather that there actually isn’t one. The only trash bins are at the front of the park as you exit – really? We heard traffic noise off and on and some type of heavy equipment sound but we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The trip here, sadly, was a fail.

For Fredericksburg RV Park: Really nice RV park. Nice location for visiting Fredericksburg. Quiet. Sites mostly level with good hookups. A bit close, but not too bad. Clean and was still decorated for the holidays when we were there. Workers were maintaining fences and infrastructure. Cute little gazebo and koi pond in the back. Large rec room, but we didn’t go in. Small dog park. We were told by friends that this is the nicest RV park in the area and we could agree.

For Fredericksburg RV Park: OK, it is 7 May 2021 and we arrived here for a weeks stay. I will give another review at the end of our 7-day stay but today I want to discuss the comment that this was a trailer park. In my opinion it is far from it. In my opinion this is the nicest/best RV Park in Fredericksburg. I was not able to see what would cause the trailer park comment. I just walked through the entire RV Park there are NO old RV's in here and very few if any over 10-years old. It does appear some individuals are living here in their RV but they have no more "stuff" on their site than Weekend Warriors. In fact every site was really clean and neat. There are a lot of tourist in here for a few days to a week or so, we are one of them. So, I walked through the entire park and counted the RV's and what type here is my tally: 18-TT's, 35 5'ers. 25-Class A, 3-class B, and 4-class C motorhomes. With that said, I am NOT happy with the WIFI, it does not even power Facebook well enough to use it. I am also NOT happy with the cable TV, I have done the Auto Scan for channels and only come up with a fraction of what is advertised on their official park handout. Also no ABC, CBS, NBC, or Cable News.....we do have the weather channel.

For Fredericksburg RV Park: This is a very nice RV Park that could easily label itself as a Resort. Absolutely nothing to complain about. It exceeded expectations. Already have reservations for the summer of 2021.

For Fredericksburg RV Park: Let me start by saying how excited we were to get to Fredericksburg. When we made our reservations, our leave date was open. It was decided that we would give them the exact date of departure upon arrival. We had a range, but it wasn’t exact. So when we pulled up, the office was closed. We weren’t aware that it would be. They had our papers outside and had already charged our card with the date they chose for us to leave. NOT COOL! Like they didn’t even call us.
The sites are on top of one another. My awning almost hits the camper in front of us. To add to the clutter around us, this place isn’t a campground. It’s a trailer park! This place is a hot mess. The photos on the website definitely don’t match the reality. They have 3 rows for overnight campers and the remaining is permanents. If they want to target both markets, they could at least have the folks keep it clean around here. It’s a huge turnoff to overnight campers to see such a permanent mess.
To end this review, the campground had a covid breakout and the “office†didn’t even think to let anyone know. We heard it through the campground grapevine. And those that told us had all been exposed. It would have just been nice to know. So all in all it’s a mess here. I guess this is what happens when the owners aren’t even on the property.
I will say they had a very clean laundry room. Lots of washer & dryers and clean. It’s also in a good location to downtown which is nice. If you’re looking for a trailer park to live in, this is your place. If you’re looking for maybe just a night or two, it could possibly work. But if you’re looking for a nice campground for your extended vacation, I don’t recommend it.

For Fredericksburg RV Park: Great location in town. Easy to get to. Site was well kept. There is a food truck park next door that had live music on Saturday. It was nice to sit outside and listen to the music. Music ended around 10:30. The only negative was the WiFi. The signal was very slow and weak. Very difficult to check email much less stream tv shows and movies. I will definitely stay here again.
