For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: Great place to stop over for the night. Regular price for full hookup was $30, military discount was $27.80. We only needed electric, and was only charged $20. Showers are free. There were no events going on, so we had a ton of room.

For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: Reviews are accurate. Gravel lot, no shade, full hook ups ( mostly 50 amp), but for us to get away from the nonstop noise of I-80 it is the only choice. Check in is easy and access to WiFi and bathrooms are without any codes. Not many people staying during our layover so could actually stream video. You’re. Probably passing through anyway ( unless it’s rodeo time) so lack of a little shade is easily overlooked. Will stay here every time. Solid value.

For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: Gravel lot at fair grounds. Many available spaces and clean shower rooms when we stopped on our way to Grand Teton. Groundskeeper loves on sight, ring the bell on her fence- she was very nice. We had full hookups here for our 20’ camper.

Nadina
For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: Served its purpose for quick overnight stay. Gravel/dirt with full hookups. Be mindful when you choose your spot as sewer hookups may be farther away than others. Bathhouse clean. Absolutely no shade but for $30 it was fine for overnight.

For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: We were looking for a place to stay in the general area with full hookups to break up a long drive. We're self contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a weeknight in mid-October in our 25 foot MH.
This is a great place for a quick stay when there are no events and would be a nice place to stay for specific events at Sweetwater Event Center. There are 3 areas for camping. We stayed in the only one that's still open and didn't get the name. Of >1,000 campsites, there were 8 other RVs parked during our stay - it was quiet and spacious. When full, the sites would be a bit narrow and dense, yet quite convenient for events. The sites are arrayed across a large gravel parking area, arranged in sets of two with wooden separators. The hookups work well and are heated with a faucet assembly for cold temps. We needed an extension cord and adaptor to reach the 25/50 amp only electric post. We reached the water with our 20 foot hose and septic with our 15 foot waste hose. Caution that some sewer connections are higher from the ground than others. The sites are mostly level, gravel, and there's no shade. The push button showers were clean with ample hot water. Park WiFi is available. ATT data was usable, Verizon was excellent. Register at the yellow house across from the indoor arena. The caretakers were helpful and friendly.
Sweetwater Events Center hosts many events. Rock Springs is close by with many services.
