For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: Great place for a "mid stay". It is central to a lot of activities in this area. Price is great $$ with full hookups and 50A for our 36' fifth wheel.

For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: This park is a county facility mainly for Rodeo events. The layout is not very friendly for RV's. It has over 1,000 50A water and sewer spots. Most of which are vacant when there are no events. The Caretakers here are exceptionally nice and try to accommodate you with whatever you need. During the week we stayed here there were never more than half dozen units here. It's a dirt and gravel lot with the parking spaces laid out with fences. It is designed as back in spots with the hookups 10 feet behind the unit on the other side of a fence. If you park correctly you need about 30 feet of hoses and power. The caretaker let us park anywhere we wanted and in any direction. We nosed in the MH at an angle and occupied two spaces. The 50A is good, the water is good and at $25 per night you can't beat the price.

For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: $10 night dry camping. Either 20 or 25 with hookups, I forget which.

There is a am caretaker and the number above links to them. They have a lot of dogs so it may be best to have them come to you to collect payment

Kind of a desolate place. Town is small but has a Walmart and a movie house.

CG

For Sweetwater Fairgrounds: Being basically a CG for rodeo events it is sparse. But we were there w/no events and had plenty of room w/full hookups. John and Kay, t hosts, were extremely helpful and nice. We parked at t end of a double row and had easy access to t hookups, which is not t case in regular spots as has been noted. It is quite and convenient to I-80 w/views of t White Mt. Across t road. We enjoyed t many beautiful attractions there esp. Flaming Gorge on t Green River. We would certainly stay there again. We are in a 40ft MH.
