After the bailey bridge over the Lake Koocanusa, take the second road to the left (west). Follow the Caven Creek FSR 32.5 km where the road forks. Take the right fork. Continue on the Caven Creek FSR until the fork at 39 km. Take the right fork until 42 km where the road forks again. Take the right fork and the recreation site is on the left within the first 500 m
