Getting there
Plumas NF, From Oroville on Hwy 70 take Hwy 162 east to Olive Hwy. Then turn right and go 5 miles to Forbestown Road. Turn right and go 16 miles to La Porte Road. Turn left, go 27 miles to La Porte and pass through going 2 miles more to the Recreation Area signs, turn right and go to the site.
