Disco

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: It is crowded and overpriced. We paid $94 a night which is double what I paid 2 years ago. The water pressure was horrible. We could not take a shower in the rig and the toilet would barely flush. The water pressure in the park showers and washing machines is good. Since it is not possible to shower in your rig it seems like they would pay extra attention to the upkeep of the public showers. There were 3 of them but only 2 with curtains. There are no hooks for a towel and no place to lay your clothes or put the soap except on the floor. I took our camp chair into the shower so I’d have a place to put my clothes and towel. Really hard to understand. I think the ownership may have changed since I was last here. Some things have been upgraded like new signs and fencing and a snack machine in the laundry room. I think a hook in the shower might have been a better use of money. Dog park is not much but there is a park next door that’s nice but maybe a little sketchy at night. On the upside, the employees are very nice and accommodating, especially Sara. If they can attend to some of the more basic amenities and maybe lower the price just a little I might have given it 4 stars. There aren’t really any nicer parks in this area so they kind of have you. I know there are a ton of new people out in RVs due to the pandemic so I guess parks think they can charge more. Never have I ever paid more than $65 and that was for a luxury site with amazing amenities, this is not that although it is nicer than most in the area. I’m not sure I can afford to come back here.

Bryan

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Friendly staff. Driver’s side electric plug ins on even sites only. Very cramped quarters. Gravel parking with no grass. Limited to no shade.

Mike

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: I tried to reserve place on a Saturday night, left msg on the phone. Then look up there web site to reverse a spot there which I tried to, but the site said it didn’t go through, even though it charged my CC anyway. So we called a couple of times on the drive there and after long drive show up there. No night drop with our spot info, nothing. Just the same phone number that was on the web and no one answering the calls. I am trying to get the charge off my CC and still no one answers. Don’t go here!!

Braam

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: We spent 6 nights at Pikes Peak RV park and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Laundry was clean and good quality Speed Queen equipment. Bathrooms were clean. It is a 5 star all the way!

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Horrible place. Too crowded. Not pet friendly. Everyone crammed together.

Ronda

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Too many rows of campers made pulling and and parking too difficult. Super tight fit if you are over 25’. No dog area. There is an adjacent park-scary and dark! Would not advise a women to go alone. If I wasn’t such a hard 45 minutes to get into our space we would not have stayed.

Jim

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: The cost of a single night in July 2018 cost us $66.62. The campground also lacks electrical boxes for each site. Had to use the extra 50 ft, 30 amp extension cord to get power to our RV.
