For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Very convenient and cozy campground right off I-70 in Kansas.
Country park is located about 3 hours W of Wichita, KS.
On a small river with shaded lots, mostly level gravel pull through sites. Far enough of the interstate that you really can’t hear traffic. No privacy between sites. We stayed in Sept. 2021 and paid $20 to include 30 amp hookups with water. No sewer at the site, not sure if there is a dump station. They do have 50 amp pedestals. Would stay again.

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Great small park and town. The new sites are level concrete pads 20/30/50 amp power and water. Police patrol park and very friendly. Stopped for a couple days and stayed 9. 2 museums and a small town diner and a golf course with club house, all great food. Only thing is branches on the way in are a little low. We are 13-6 tall and missed them but a great stopping place

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: As always a great little campground for a nite (or even a few). So glad they expanded! This is probably our fourth time stopping here on our way to and from Colorado. Great deal for the money for sure!

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: The town put in 8 new spaces with water & electricity this year. Nice spot for an overnight stay.

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: This was good for what it was. Here's our Pros and Cons:
Pros: cute town, quiet, pretty with the river, friendly cop came by and let the kids see his car, easy first come first serve payment box, fire pit and grill and picnic table, $20 was great for just passing through on our way to Utah
Cons: even though the sites say water and electrical there is one box between every two campsites. Some of the water hookups only have one spicket so only one site can use. The electrical at our site was not putting out 30 amp as it said so we just ran our generator. There was a WiFi with password but our phones couldn't detect the WiFi to sign on.
We made due with those but would have rated it a 5 if those things had been working. We would stay again if passing through.

Rob Barr
For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Not up to others reviews. At 1pm only one site available (all others taken up by what appears as “full Timersâ€. No 50 amp sites. More of a “Mobile Home Park†than a RV Park.
